In May 2014 from the 20th until the 27th I was on Norfolk Island and operating using the call sign VK9DAC.
The trip was to do some bird watching and Amateur Radio operation. During the trip I activated Mt Bates 314m, 4 points VK9/NO-001 for Summits on the Air (SOTA). Where I made 39 contacts.
I registered with the Islands on the Air (IOTA) web site and look forward to contacting those who have not worked Norfolk Island. Several contacts were made with other Islands

Norfolk Island is considered by many as the most beautiful island in the Pacific. It is located off the coast of mainland Australia accessed by a 2 hour flight from Sydney or Brisbane
It is a premier bird watching destination, with many species of seabirds, ancient forests and magnificent scenery.
